Tyson is pretty awesome
If anyone’s interested in extra details on this topic, the creation of the heaviest elements predominantly occurs not in supernovas but kilonovas (when neutron stars collide)
This was recently shown in unprecedented detail during one of the recent gravitational wave discoveries
