define weird? my normal is weird to a lot of folks, I have friends that are a little weird to me, what baseline are we using to determine normal? Here is my list of what I think makes me weird compared to most. I am an avid reader. Almost all genres. From action to zoology I read almost all of it. But not true crime. I listen to lots of "weird" music. I love Dr. Demento. I love Tom Leherer, Stan Freberg, the Foremen, I like 50s, 60s and 70s country and folk, 80s is about as recent as I like most music. I like movies. Old B&W Z grade horror, westerns, war, sci fi, fantasy, chik flicks, romcoms, drama, I do not like the torture porn horror genre. Many long years ago I abandoned my quest to find a porn movie with an actual plot, decent dialogue and actual acting. I like food, as my waistline attests to too well. I like trying new foods. I will not eat liver. I play RPGs. I have played D&D, RIFTs, Boot Hill, Star Frontiers, Paranoia, Call of Cthulu, Twilight 2000, Recon, The Morrow Project, The White Wolf games Vampire, werewolf, and mage, Mechwarrior, and many many others. I have been told to my face, by a family member, I was going to hell because I played D&D. I figure if thats the case we can get up a great game. I am from the deep south, therefore the deep bible belt. But I have never been much of a believer. Too many contradictions and way too much cherry picking.I have served my country in the US army as an airborne infantryman. I am strongly patriotic, but I don't care if someone sits or kneels at the national anthem. I have always liked women better than men. and not because they are women per se, I just tend to get along better with them. So with all that thrown into a blender and well mixed, I wind up as weird in some way measured against almost any yardstick.

I’ve always been called weird. I don’t know why. Maybe because I am weird! That’s ok though, I like being in the weird club, we’re cool. ????
