What quote or saying do you find overused and/or complete BS?

One I see too often that bothers me is:

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

Well yes, I may have learned a lesson, but I don't feel like smiling about it. Especially at the beginning of the grieving process.

IN gawd WE TRUST I typed all caps IN WE TRUST and I insist the non-word god be spelled lower case
