Wall St. is doing very good! Is the 'bubble' about to burst?

How bad would it be?

I don't know but if it takes a downturn, i want to see Trump squirm.

@atheist Im squirming only at Trump in place for another year.....i hope he goes to jail

@atheist as he slowly destroys the country with his policy, as leader..yeah being an asshole is complicit.

Good question.. I’ve considered it a combination of the Obama recovery & the trump tax redistribution that’s been fueling it. I suspect it’ll cool down ...and wait for the mid-term results. It goes in cycles, the longer before a downturn, the deeper the downturn.

Likely. Todays gains are due to ridiculously low interest rates, and people are leery of real estate after 2008.So, too much money is going into the stock market, causing inflation of stock prices.

My feeling is that the rally is based on HOPE that Trump's policies will have a net positive effect on the economy. I think it will likely continue at least a good way into 2018 on this assumption.

If Trump's policies turn out to be a disaster financially or he finally does something that even his most dedicated supporters condemn, a crash will ensue.

Hmmm... ild be a millionaire if i would of left it there. Fear kept me from leaving it. I've lost tons of money before. I thought for sure it was going to collapse when Trump won.... damn!

You’re not alone, if I read you right. One of the wealthiest people I know removed the bulk of their assets from stocks with the election of trump ...apparently a year too soon.. Though they’ll not be hurting.

Same here---I completely over-reacted when Trump won, forgetting that the stock market is entirely amoral.

@ClaireMilner I did too, I had to talked into getting back in. Much more conservative this time though.

I sold everything between the election and the coronation and reinvested it in annuities. But the downturn is inevitable, and as one person told me about my leaving the market, "Better a year early than a day late."

@BikerDude50 i hear what you say. I feel i screwed myself in a way. My buddies that took the chance are doing rather well. It just pissed me off that it jumped that much and I didn't make the killing they did....grrr.

@BucketlistBob Frankly, my investments weren't doing all that well anyway, but yeah, I too think about what I could be missing out on now. That said, my wife was the economist, and she's gone. And I suck at gambling, and that's basically what the market is now--betting on when tRUMP is going to crash the economy. A year from now, I doubt either one of us will have any regrets.

@BikerDude50. Cool brother!

My stocks are long gone. If tRUMPis imepached or Mueller finds more guilty parties close to tRUMP than I think that is possible.
