I really hate to share these things but it will creep here eventually.
Trump held a press conference featuring the families of victims who had been killed by undocumented immigrants, the overwhelming majority as a result of car crashes. In an attempt to counter the backlash from his cruel family separation policy, he said they had been “permanently” separated from their loved ones.
He then went on to directly address studies that have shown undocumented immigrants commit crimes at much lower rates than native-born Americans and, offering no evidence for his claims, said “It’s not true.” Again, IT IS TRUE.
But what really galled people was how cavalierly Trump treated the slain loved ones he was using as political pawns. He actually autographed their pictures.
This feels like a battle between good and evil.
Gee, where did this happen before? Oh, that's right, 1930s Germany.
