Ever wondered why people in the U.S. struggle more each year just to get by?
I have over simplified and generalized all this to make it easy to be understood by someone who knows nothing about economics or business. Jus think about it a little and you can get a picture of just how complicated it all really is, but the above is historically accurate and true (to the bgest of my knowledge anyway).
The answer is simpler than you say. The culture of civic responsibility in the corporate world has been superceded by the culture of greed -- maximizing profits by any means possible without concern for the results. And Big money meddlers in politics and Republican ideologues are responsible.
