How does your moon look tonight?

The next full moon will be overnight this week on Wednesday and Thursday of June 27 and June 28. That's because the full moon occurs at 12:53 a.m. EDT (0453 GMT), so depending on which time zone you live in, the full moon will be at its best late Wednesday (June 27) or in the wee hours of Thursday (June 28). To the casual observer, however, the moon will appear full the day before and after it's peak brightness, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the lunar sight, weather permitting. The June full moon is typically known as the Full Strawberry Moon, or the full Rose Moon and the Lotus Moon.

I have been watching the moon creep towards becoming full this month.

A former lover and I had a bond involving the moon - wherever we were when apart, we could look at the moon at the same time. I still think of her when I see it; a gentle, fleeting reminder.

We have such heavy cloud cover, I know the moon is there because of the tides, but cannot see it at all.

@Stacey48 you probably wish you could have some of our water in Arizona

@Stacey48 I think we had about 4 inches of rain this evening

@Stacey48 this year we have had approximately 30 inches of rain since January that is 10 inches more than normal. Did you grow all those tulips in Arizona? I thought Arizona was dry and you could not have flower gardens are vegetable gardens grown in Arizona.

@Stacey48 what about vegetable gardens?

I'm at the Great Sand Dunes National Monument in the San Luis Valley, CO for a couple of days so it should be magnicent view over the dunes tonight. Thanks for the info.
