The USA has engaged in religious jihads the world over for many years. The christian missionaries that go to places like Afghanistan do so much more harm than good. With an utter disregard for the culture of those regions, they offer up food and aid in exchange for conversion. Desperate families convert to get food for their kids only to be abandoned when the Americans fly home... they are left to be put to death by extremists as punishment for their conversion. All religions do great harm in some ways. This is just a way that many don't think of as they simply disregard the beliefs/laws/customs of others in their zeal to convert.

Your question... terrorism... Americans can take credit for a great deal of what could be termed terrorism the world over.
