It could be a strange dish known famous in your region, or something you've tried around the world.
I LOVE trying new and bizarre foods! My list is long and colourful.
Depending on the response I get, will depend how much I share. I don't want to shock or offend people just for the sake of doing so.
I will say that I do have two caveats when deciding whether to eat something or not:
I won't eat an species that is endangered/rare/protected, and I won't eat any animal that I have a high suspicion that it was killed inhumanely.
Giant Western Puffballs, Gooseneck Barnacles, Fried Grasshoppers, Chocolate Coated Bumble Bees, Beaver Tail Soup, Wild Prairie Onions, Bear Root, Salsify, Pansies fresh and candied, Silage wine, Pickled Tongue, Bread made from Wild Dock, Porcupine, Wood Violet inner stems, Cattail roots and stems, Gooey Ducts, Abalone, Duck's Feet, Water Lilly Bulbs, Freshwater Clams, Box Crabs, Aspen inner bark, and I could go on and on but I am getting hungry.
