This is (in case you didn't recognize him) retired Bishop John Spong.

I knew who it was, I just like what he had to say about hell and control. The worst indoctrination I experienced growing up in IFB churches revolved around the notion that doubting was the worst sin you could commit and that god could forgive any other sin including murder and rape. The most important aspect of my de-conversation was coming to grips with the fact that hell does not exist.

@JMcD Other folk watching the clip might not have known. I didn't doubt that you knew.
