Snuggle bots and robo-dogs...I'd totally be interested BUT Miss P, my whippet, would take a most dim view of being replaced by AI! (She just snorted. As if! Lol.)

My cat attacks my robot vac. She'd probably have a conniption fit with a robot dog. Could keep her entertained, or they'd both destroy my house.
