Lots of religious fanatics abuse their families and molest children. Lots of "family values" people sneak off to have gay affairs or anonymous gay sex in airport bathrooms (I live in Minneapolis, the airport here had the famous Senator Larry Craig trying to get some in the airport bathroom stall - just google "wide stance and toe tapping" ... lol .... these folks got two faces. Do as I say, not as I do, if you do as I do, I'll punish you.

What gets me is those cases where the fundamentalist male molester or rapist gets applauded when he confesses. Why don't the flock get outraged?

So he got away with it for so long "by using his conservative Christian persona." Just another example of why someone's religiosity is inversely proportional to my trust in that person. The extremely religious always seem shady to me.
