I think in the future, if man is to survive, there will have to be some kind of World Order. It could end bad because of human nature, but no worse than if all the Nations of the world have Nuclear weapons capable of destroying earth.

Many of you are thinking in terms of the current government systems. I agree... This would be a bad thing.

A one world's order has the potential to be a good thing if it addresses the following...

1. The system needs to make it possible for only the most intellegent, competent and compassionate people to rule. In order for this to be possible...

a. Equal Opportunities must be present
b. Money and connections must be irrelevant

2. Cronyism, Lobbying and financial incentives

a. Society must not be ruled entirely by money
b. Incentive twards good results must be created

3. Intellegence in everyone must be nurtured. Leads to gods decision making in general in the populace in addition to incentive to become the best one can possibly be.

The only way to get the most intellegent, competent and compassionate people into positions of power, equal opportunities must be present for every single person. Equal Opportunities are not present. When a person inherits a fortune, no matter their character or talent, they have a greater chance at success than a compassionate genious. Passing on a large inheritance must be illegal. All additional money goes to common wealth at death. A max amount of say, seven million a year can be earned, and all additional goes to common wealth. Everyone gets the same exact education for perfect equal opportunity. College gets paid for by government for everyone who wants to go.

Once equal opportunities are present, only those with the most merit, as decided by their peers in said department gets voted as a representative for that department. This goes for all sectors of life whether education, government or something else.

Everyone will be given an optimal education catered to their individual desires, personality and talents. Critical thinking individuals make better decisions. Only those with knowledge in a specific area should be allowed to vote in that area. This can be determined by taking a test or having a degree in that area. Any person can vote in any area they wish, but they must put in the effort.

Lobbying must be made illegal.

Some form of capitalism must be present so that people have an incentive to improve themselves, work hard, ect. Without it people lose motivation. Along with the previous solutions, this is a completely different form of capitalism however.

A specific law must be put in place that makes necessary the scienctific method in government. When something is implemented and it doesn't work, it's required that steps be taken to fix the problem.

Every single problem with three governments of the world cones down to these root causes...

1. Most compassionate, intellegent and competent not in their correct positions in life. Instead it's more of a roll of dice. In fact the system of capitalism rewards psychopathic behaviors like lying, stealing, ect. We must remove the popularity contest.

2. The world is ran by money instead of placing emphasis on the optimization of the whole through the optimization of each individual. Instead of money ruling, we should have a goal for humanity... to become the best they can possibly be.

3. Ability to think critically, logically and even coherently is sadly to a low degree. The society is a direct reflection of is individuals, their ability to reason and their mental health for that matter.

If we can tackle these three issues through my solutions, every other problem in society would inevitably solve itself!

See this is the biggest issue. When you design a government or any other type of human institution you have to concentrate on what you plan to do when it goes wrong not hope that it will go right. A good government can have very bad people running it but the damage they can do is mitigated. The current administration of the US has about a 30% approval rate, according to 70% the people running the government are evil and yet not much has actually changed. Things continue for the most part to be the same day-after-day. Because the way the government is designed making any change is very difficult.

You want to be able to deal with corruption, criminality, incompetence. This is why every large group of people establish rules and procedures that still work even if bad people become involved.

A one world government would remove the single most important right people have to keep their government behaving. The ability to flee from oppression. No government can ever get so bad when its people can still defect. A one world government would quickly find its ranks staffed with the worst of humanity as the jailers and a humanity in a prison.

People often forget what they lose and concentrate on what they hope to gain.

What if you had a type of Trump as the world leader. What then ? Accidents happen.

Positive: No more passports for travel and endless delay at borders...same with currency and also knowledge of laws..one would hope...and prices would be same...I guess...this also puts new spin on 'finding a job' anywhere!..that would be fun.

Negative: Corruption would be at staggering problem. ...and abuse of power would now be at worlds peril....Solutions would be implemented with snail speed....potentially a stagnant nightmare.

Its usually not the system but the people who are problem.Every system can be changed and improved save Despotism or Dictatorship....even those can be changed with enough of will of its citizens.

Completely agree. I always feel like an outcast for thinking the human race needs a one world order, but it's true. I see us from a cosmic perspective, not a national one. It's nothing conspiratorial or nefarious. I just think the human race is so special amongst the galaxy and/or universe that we need to get past our petty differences and find a way for our species to succeed together. Won't happen in my lifetime but I see it as an inevitable outcome, assuming humans survive that long.

It is a virtually impossible concept. There are simply too many different cultures with too many different belief systems and operating assumptions. It would result in world disorder worse than it is today. We can see how bad things are in failed states today and how they remain mired in chaos. Can you imagine the whole world as a failed state?
