This is only partially true. Jesus did say this to THIS woman (A Canaanite... and there's a long history of animosity between the two tribes). She, however, rebuffed Jesus:
The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.” “Yes, Lord,” she said, “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
When she called him out on his racism, he recognized that and recanted.
We all have issues. What's important is what we do when those issues are brought to our attention.
My question is, what is the reason that you want to remind Christians about this. Provoking them for your own pleasure, or just as an answer on their aggressive approach?
One came at me with Hell. Does that satisfy your curiosity?
Why do you think it's curiosity? It actually is not I am just asking to try to understand the problem. That's why you posted the question isn't it? So you are looking for an answer on their aggressive approach, right?
I guess you could ask them why they approach you with this issue as they apparently know you don't believe. You could tell them that it's your choice and don't want harassment from whoever. So, confront them with what they do. Don't start a discussion. You never can convince a believer before they start thinking by themselves.
Yep... he was something. I heard he cursed a tree for mot having fruit on it.
For some strange reason, he doesn’t know it was cursed before he even got there, plus the tree wasn’t easy get for bearing cause it was the wrong season.
@EmeraldJewel. Alright... thanks.
I had to look this one up. OK so he calls her a dog and then she asks for dog food which somehow proves she is worthy of being healed. It kind of sounds like an abusive relationship.
Yep!
