Good for those researchers, keeping their skills sharp. I imagine it must be hard work, reliably providing contradictory studies to every other study.
As soon as I read "new study" then a lot of stuff comes back to my head..... coffee is not good !!!...oh wait, coffee is good ....... Bacon, don't get me started with bacon, ok?..... soda kills you, Jesus saves you (whatever).... all those studies, this one in particular, is likely conducted and written by someone that has NEVER tasted a single drop of alcohol (Yes, you guessed that right, I am being ridicuolosly sarcastic)...... I am sure everybody here knows and understands that the only thing that really matters is moderation. That's it and can wait to run into the next latest and greatest study which will say (mark my words) "A new study have determined that ONE cup of wine every other day is a healty level of alcohol consumption"... in the meantime, gimme my beer

Business revenues would plummet by £13 billion in England alone if people stuck to the recommended guidelines on alcohol consumption, says another study [theguardian.com]
Lots of people are cutting down or giving up drinking, which threatens the livelihoods of people involved in producing alcoholic drinks. So, as good socialists we must show solidarity with our comrades in the brewing industry by getting shit-faced as often as possible.
Universities would collapse without their bars in halls and main bars. Booze is what keeps the fees low compared to, say America. If students drank more, and universities had even more boozers and drinking events, we could do away with fees all together! I agree what we need is to drink more and unionize!
Alcohol is so embedded in our culture that most people don't even realize that it's not a drug it's actually a toxin IE a poison that's why when somebody becomes very drunk they are intoxicated, they have literally poisoned themselves
