I am super interested to hear what you all think about this video. If anyone has the time to watch, please let me know what you think. Hopefully we will stir up lots of comments and debate.
The film maker is someone whos work I follow quite closely. He made 3 films. In the last two it is hard to deny the information presented and he is extremely on point. But this first movie was actually done as a performance art piece, Film and live music. I never looked into his first video much, which this is part 1 of, because I was always skeptical of the credibility of the information he presents, especially in part 2. But that is all debatable. This part of his first movie is all on religion and I'd love to know how many people agree or disagree and what you think about it. Please watch and comment.
I’ll have to check this out.
@SilverDollarJedi Okay, thanks!
Be aware that the correlations between older myths, and the stories about Jesus are based on erroneous research. Details here: [ed5015.tripod.com]
I've watched and it seemed compelling at first blush, but there are serious problems with it. Some of it is factual, enough to make it seem plausible on the whole, but they make a lot of leaps in logic and even use outright falsehoods to support their specious claims. I'd love to see a team of serious historians come together and make a similar video that avoids fabricating arguments and sticks to evidence and primary sources, rather than presenting a lot of unsupported conjecture as fact.

And here's a brief video from The Atheist Experience about it:
I'm gonna owe you a beer soon for all of the woo debunking you beat me to hahahahahah
I've seen it and it was the turning point for me. Very grateful for it.
