My son sure is (all high As, aces exams, valedictorian, etc). He is also more ambitious and disciplined. My daughter is more talented than either of us, and that's saying a lot.

... scientists say this is true-that they
just are unaware of how the world works?

I don't know who's smarter or that matters, but we've learned a lot from each other. They're both a hell of a lot more intelligent than their mother though. 😉

Funny,I've read children get their intellegence from the Mother.

@Mike1947 that would explain a lot. If they got their intelligence from her. They took it all.

Environment and heridity ,are some factors,in intelligence, polution in the expectant Mothers such as Lead,and BPH affect fetal development.

..I agree . Beside a healthy emotional/safe
envoirment the home should be toxin free.
At least we are aware of these today.
Also I learn about what the world looks like
from thier vantage point

I think the next generation has the ability to be smarter than their parents but it depends on their drive and ability.

Science says this is true...some encouragement
is needed for me today.I encounter alot of
disappointment but hope that there is enough
resilience to" make thier way";
Also if the gaol is reachable
is not a well honed skill for the young; Disappointment is an energy drain?
