I have been Independent since the observing of Ross Perot's running for president.

Not fond of either party but to for most events, not vote Democrat has the effect of not voting against republitards. Prior to the tRump fiasco I argued with many (not Hillary because (even though they all claimed to hate tRump, tRump will not win so they will vote for someone else) on Facebook who refused to see the dangers of tRump and did not vote Democrat so we can thank those for tRump. Many of those no longer posted on Facebook after tRump was elected. Wish more would have listened to me.

In Washington State, we do not register as beign affiliated with any political party. We have open primaries and also vote by mail.

You should probably add, at the very least, "Democrat leaning" and "Republican leaning."
