Favorite early SF/Fantasy Book
So what is the earliest Science Fiction or Fantasy book you remember reading and just saying "wow!".
The three books I remember from when I was young were A Wizard of Eathsea, Time for the Stars, and A Wrinkle in Time.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I remember reading a book by a Welsh author about a sort of doomsday toxic vapor-thing that turned everything to dust and there was only one material that would keep it out. Thing is, I don't remember the title or author. I'd like to find it again; I'd probably regard it now as complete rubbish, though.
