I like that as a metaphorical statement, but the religion part does bother me enough to say I couldn't really use it.

I'll never use the words religion or worship, but my sense of awe and being connected with other things, does come from nature.

No religion, thank you. Though I do consider being out in wilderness coming close to the uplift in spirit that some seem to acquire during a particularly good church session !
