Permanently homeless about 7, add a couple of hundred for homeless people passing through.

I am actually one of those homeless in Oregon. I personally use no government resources except health insurance which literally keeps me alive. Many others I know survive without government benefit.

We have plenty in Dallas, but the NIMBY's in North Dallas do everything they can to make sure they are only seen south of Downtown

Is that the solution authorities propose?

Quite a few... but they all get a weekly befifit from the goverment of between $150-$500 depending on how many kids you have, so a lot of these people, pure lazy/drug habits. unacceptable and avoidable.

Even New Zealand have poor homeless people? What happened to our humanity? I mean the population of NZ is so small, why should there be homeless people? What's the solution from NZ authorities?
