I'm the only non-Gervais fan amongst my friends and family.
The Office UK was great. But his interview with Gary Shandling, soon after The Office, didn't go down so well. Some have pointed at a video edit (to make himself come out better at one of the exchanges). I can't find the original YouTube where it was the top comment.
Here's a re-upload of it. There are 5 parts.
I like his stance against animal cruelty and his open atheism.
