I loved Atlantis and the first five seasons of SG-1, but I did not care for Universe. It wasn’t fun, and it had no interesting antagonists.
The mythological referenced in SG-1 were right up my alley, and both the Goa’uld and the Wraith were complex characters that happened to prey on people as a means of survival. They were the bad guys, but they had a sort of point.
Did Universe even have an antagonist?
Anyway, Ba’al and Todd forever.
Yes, for sure. Kurt Russell et, al. in the original movie is an all time favorite of mine. Richard Dean Anderson was a great pick for the TV role. I loved his attitude. Add Amanda Tapping was very cool. I think the movie and series were the closest thing to an atheistic/agnostic story line I've every seen on TV. False Gods were everywhere!
I loved the movie. I had no idea there was a show until after I saw Atlantis. I went back and bought the SG-1 DVDs right away.
Too much a copy of Star Trek City On The Edge Of Forever managed by MR AtoS
Universe ruined it with that pointy nose guy.
I’ve seen the move so many times. Atlantis was the best!
Every character in Universe was so unlikable That is one aspect of the show I really didn’t like. I wouldn’t have wanted to hang out with any of them.
