The sad thing is that religious bs is all parts of society. The fools need a imaginary stamp on things to make themselves feel better. Not to mention the insurance companies want to cheat as much as they can.

That has been a gripe of mine for years. An Act of Nature is what they would use if they were honest, but insurance is not an honest proposition.

When ever you sign an insurance policy, you are handing over the responsibilty of your actions with whatever you are insuring, at the same time agreeing to the rules laid out by the insurance company as to how you are supposed to 'act' with said property.

It is an annoying artifact of the Christian worldview. I suppose it could just say "natural disaster".
