Well, if the shooter had prayed, yes. But in this case I would rather run than pray. Even if they have christian parents. Nobody has ever used prayers as a working shield to catch bullets. I guess that all that tried didn't live to tell.

Why didn't god just stop the shooting? He knows everything. With his divine plan, not only did he plan it, he knew who he assigned the shooting to. He could have notified the FBI or the local police, but he didn't. So why blame the children and their parents. Why not blame god, this was his idea in the first place? Boy does that sound ridiculous.
