For the thespians out there: What is the favorite role that you have ever played? Why? And, what is one role you would love to play some day?
I played the wicked witch of the west (Wizard of Oz) in 6th grade and an evil wizard named "Balderdash" in 7th. I love playing bad guys because I get to be so unlike my usual (sweet, kind, polite) self. There's nothing like it.
I was originally a theatre major in college and was active in community theatre in grad school. I played the female ski bunny opposite the Frank Sinatra character. Can't remember the name of the character though. Future character to play Michele's role in Dark Shadows.
Come Blow Your Horn was the play. Michelle Pfeifer role in Dark Shadows.
I've only been in plays written and directed by people I know, including myself.
But I've worked as an extra in both the Secretariat and Seabiscuit movies, for the scenes shot at Keeneland Race Track, Lexington, KY, and Churchill Downs, in Louisville.
They were my childhood horse heroes, so when I saw the open casting calls, I went on over and got hired.
Photo is of me in 2009, when I was an extra in the Secretariat movie at Churchill Downs, wearing a 1973-era dress. The horse is a thoroughbred race horse being exercised at dawn, at Churchill Downs before the Secretariat movie shoot that day
