What do you think when you look back over the past 50 years or more is the most significant accomplishment we brought to society? And conversely, what did we take away?
Latchkey/free-range parenting. It's a whole generation and there has been a lot of fantastic and unfortunately minded people in it. It was a generation of rebellion and a lot of change. Birthed both gen x and millennials. I'm the second of the two and I know there are some amazing and lazy af people in my generation. More productive than previous generations but fearful of sickdays.
Viral commercialism and "greed is good" mentality as normal.
The biggest impacts of the Baby Boomer generation in general are the intense crime wave of their youth and the blatant disregard for the future their old age.
Of course those are just in general observations and many individual Boomers are awesome people.
Almost got pot legal.
