Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I love Allan Watts. Werner Earhart was very influenced by Allan, from living next door to Allan’s houseboat in Sausalito. As you probably know, Allan was British, and an ordained Episcopalians priest, and a heavy drinker, who was depressed in his later years, and he was rumored to have committed suicide, which has never been substantiated.More likely he drank himself to death; however his death was somewhat mysterious and he was quickly cremated.

i am gobsmacked! didn't know any of this about Alan Watts. i thought he was a major influence to the hippie community of the 1960s in california. i keep learning amazing things here! thank you
