Does anyone remember The Celestine Prophecy from the early 1990s? [en.wikipedia.org]
Is anyone willing to admit to being taken in by it - like I was 
I remember recommending it to others even if the writing and story elements were poor. I liked its message of "make coincidence happen"..."by staring at and listening to and feeling for the trees, the sky, the rocks ... nature". It was very "new age".
But I quickly forgot about it when I had to move away, leaving the book packed in a box in my parent's garage.
