LOL as an attorney I find it humorous that this is entitled "A Clever Plan". It is simply well-reasoned jurisprudence.

Hopefully, the plan will work.

The thing is, is that it has not been decided by any court and there is no guarantee that it will reach the Supreme Court. It could very well be that by the time all the court decisions have been made tRump will be long gone.

I constantly hear of tRumps 2020 plan to run despite all the calls for impeachment and all the public jokes about him. Add masochist to his personal 'virtues'.

As the author said, this issue ought to be "catnip" for SCOTUS. It will be interesting to see if the conservative justices are swayed by the author's logic or if they will give Trump a free ride under the 1976 National Emergencies Act.
