Agenda of persons who believer Climate change is real... We want the earth to still be habitable for humans for more than another 500 years.

Agenda for climate change deniers... We want fossil fule companies to continue to make large profits. We cont' want to learn new stuff.

agenda: for govts who badly need revenues, get those scary reports out there so that the public won't complain too much about a costly carbon tax which canada just imposed.
agenda: for global warming scientists keep putting out the scary reports, many of which have totally failed to materialize, so that they can keep receiving govt grants/subsidies.

@callmedubious Some reports mae some pretty loftey predictions, but most predicted exactly what is hhappening. Greater temperature variations with both hotter summers and colder winters (although th e4average global temperature will continue to gradually rise) . More and stronger storms. This last winter beign extrely cold int he Northern hemisphere, ws matched by an extremely hot summer inthe southern hemisphere. They say now that things are happening (changing) faster than predicted.

Granted the possiblity of human extinction is probably at least 500 yers out. But the risk is real.

Dubious you have no concept about research grants are, applird for, approved and dispersed. A terrible oversimplification of the process. 90% of world scientists are not in collusion to falsify data to justify their resestch grants.
