Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I still love Vonnegut. He was from an early age my favorite author. Although I only ever once taught his material, I believe him to be a great 20th century author. Slauterhouse is still a great and seemingly timeless book.

@tnorman1236 I too am an ardent fan of Vonnegut. I loved in Breakfast of Champions how he introduced himself as Kilgore's author and creator. Then half a year later, Venus in the halfshell came out penned by no other than, Kilgore Trout. This literary trick blew my high school mind and made me forever treasure Vonnegut.
