(Does anyone else think it's odd that she's born to a white father & African American mother, but she's a "proud member of Chicasaw Nation" ...?? Hmmmm.)

I live on the Rez and unusual combinations of heritages are not uncommon. She can easily be both those heritages and still have enough blood quanta to qualify as a member of the Chickasaw Nation.
