Any Canadians (or anybody else if it comes to that) have an opinion on this article).
The whole scope of the article is that women are tired of liberals pandering to them. One paragraph states:
We have some hard lessons to learn. The India trip exposed Mr. Trudeau and his team as shallow, fundamentally unserious, and seriously incompetent. The budget document was far less harmful; it merely checked off all the usual social-justice boxes. In addition to a new paternity leave, it included more money for female entrepreneurs, $23-million for new multiculturalism programs and a national anti-racism plan, $214-million to remove racial barriers, promote gender equality, and combat homophobia and transphobia, and other funding for “racialized and immigrant women.”
I'll bet a whole lot of women in America would like to see those programs here.
Hmm...we'll give you a great discount if you want to trade Trudeau for Trump!
@Hellbent Trudeau has his shortcoming, but he's not mocking the handicapped, bragging about sexually assaulting women, insulting his allies, blocking immigration, threatening Muslims, pushing anti-LGBTQ legislation, supporting the NRA while canceling mental illness background checks for gun buyers, praising Nazis, and lying every time he opens his mouth.
@birdingnut no, but he and or their conservative politicians are attempting to turn their country more towards ours. Privatization is beginning to hit the headlines there along with healthcare issues. The conservatives up there have made some gradual, slightly as they may be for now, changes. And it's beginning to raise some eye brows. Pushing these changes towards the healthcare system seems to have been mentioned in some news sources I follow. And the Canadians that follow the same independent news sources I follow aren't taking it lightly. Despite the managed perception here over their healthcare, they don't want anything close to the pos healthcare we have. And they aren't as engulfed in the illusion so many of us are. They know if they get a start on this no matter how gradual, it becomes to late when you least expect it.
