When it was first implemented, the enrollment age was supposed to drop every ten years or so, and eventually would have provided universal health care.

If there’s enough willpower, I think it could be implemented over a 4-5 year period to ease the displacement of all the workers.

yes, but would cut into the obscene profits of the healthcare industry. therefore not gonna happen til after the crash & burn. then there will be no money so you'll be reduced to a 3rd world healthcare system.

I disagree, I think the system will be salvaged, but I think we need some politicians with brains and spines to stand up to the industry.

i hope you're right. i'm probably too pessimistic.

It would have saved me thousands just since late May. My partner and I had to quit our jobs, break our lease, and drive thousands of miles after I was diagnosed with cancer--my insurance will only work in part of one state.
