I'm trying to make sense of this. A case from the "Idiot" files. In a state where it's legal to possess and grow, you would destroy something that can bring revenue because it's illegal? What made it illegal? No permit. Why not sell it for (place messiah/savior/deity here)'s sake? Doh!
