Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It's a great idea, but with the way the parking ticket racket is structured in California it would be difficult to implement it.
The cities (including Long Beach, where I live) depend far too much on parking ticket revenue, and the school district has a completely separate budget. Any cost savings to the school district would not accrue to the city.
