So I'm re-reading "Infinite Jest" for the 3rd time, and reason it gets better with each read. David Foster Wallace was an absolute genius. The book is like some sort of material from another planet that doesn't exist here, and to us it looks like 1 single thing; seamless and unable to be taken apart. Over 900 or so pages, he weaves every minor character, incident, and minutia weaves them all together so deftly that you see everything is connected. Take just one incident or character from the novel would cause the whole thing to self-destruct. Just wow.
