Today Amazon is suggesting a Polish movie without subtitles. I just made it through a Russian series like that.I will accept the Chronicles of Melanie. It does have subtitles, and is about the mass deportation of Latvians to Siberia around WW2

I sort of understand some spoken Spanish. Mostly I relied on body language and expression/intonation. THe RUssian one was kind of darkly Shakesperian, lots of plotting to take power, lust and poison
