Very close! Space Uber?
If it's glacial, I'm sure we could warm it right up in a few hundred years.
"Just" 31 light-years. Fastest we have traveled is 25,000 mph, Speed of light 186,000 mps. So, if we could even reach 99.9% the speed of light, it's a 31 year trip one way. Maybe someday we will figure out how to bend space/time and make that trip in an instant. It still is an interesting find and maybe something for future explorers.
If we discover stasis or suspended animation then 31 years is nothing.
