Nobody follows it, nobody likes it and it not taught anywhere. Japanese math learning centers called KUMON are more useful and popular.
This is one of those nation pride movement actions where Hindus are trying reverse the influence of the 3,000 years of invasions in India to bring out the glory of Hindu education, traditions, and ways of life. People in India are turned off by this crazy nationalism.
