Today I made Pumpkin Bread for a new neighbor. Here's the recipe.
Pumpkin Bread

Grease large loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix dry ingredients:
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
½ cup chopped nuts
- Cream butter and sugar:
4-6 tablespoons butter, softened
1-1/3 cups sugar
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Add pumpkin, vanilla and milk. Mix well.
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin puree
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk

Add dry ingredients in thirds, mixing gently until combined.

Bake about one hour in a 350-degree oven, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

She is an 82-year-old woman. "My son will be living with me," she said.
@LiterateHiker I knew you had an ulterior motive, he, he. Any son who lives with his 82 year old mother seems suspicious to me.
I always bake something to welcome new neighbors.
@LiterateHiker I wish you were my neighbour and we could pretend I was a new neighbour every day. I would be so fat.................
