I hate to be a downer, but I very much doubt that this will happen. I just don't think it will be feasible so soon. And if he manages to actually do it, I seriously doubt that it will be successful.

But it is a step in the right direction. For years I have been an advocate of space exploration and colonization, because I see it as the next logical and inevitable step for humans. Mankind is and always has been an exploring species, expanding as new horizons become available. And today, overpopulation is exerting pressure on that characteristic.
