There are many good things in Western Europe that just cannot happen in the U.S. yet unless we resolve the issues of the capital dominance.Most strings of power at the local, state and federal levels are controlled by money. It is unimaginable if a party called labor would be even allowed to take hold in the U.S. Capital would nip that in the bud. Look at what they did to labor movement and just the right to strike in Illinois.
