We talk a lot of how places we know are bad, but in your opinion, where is the best place/country/region/part of a country for a non believer to live?
Why?
Czech Republic. We have religion trust issues since the medival era when we were against the opressing and corrupt christian church. Communists endorsed it and nowadays we are one of the least religious country in the world. We are in the heart of Europe, living standarts are pretty good and we are also one of the safest country. Feel free to move in!
Oh, you are here...
And common, you czechs started the biggest religious war ever when you defenestrate (yes, this is the perfect context to use this word) some guys on 16th century.
But yes, now you just make tons of monies out of the fabulous churches that you have there.
Geographically in the United States, here is the map of religiosity of states. The darker the blue, higher the religiosity. That should tell us that the light blue states are fertile grounds for progressives and atheists. [en.wikipedia.org]
Internationally, the North European progressive countries are more non-religious such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark etc. No wonder they have done better for their societies.
Atheism is very new and it is going to be 400 years fight to eradicate the disease of Christianity alone.
