The effigy was holding a baby to make it that much worse!

@bobwjr, I was hoping you might bear with me for a moment, and let me ask you a etiquette question. I've only been on this site since last week, I've never been on Facebook, or any other social media site. this truly is my first foray into social media period. You and several other members, seem to be everywhere that I am looking, and have opinions that I've come to respect quite a bit over this last week. Regarding etiquette, this post of yours is something I find extremely depressing, and angering. Commenting I see as being appropriate, but in such a situation, should the like button be used? Possibly a simpleton question, but I only have access to this site through my phone, and all the emojis that drop down from the like button are so small, I can't tell what the last four are. Thanks in advance, and if even asking this question in this manner is inappropriate etiquette, well, that would be nice to know as well.

Relax it's making people aware of the current situation in the world, the rising tide of religious extremism. Know your enemy or opponent of reason. In today's world forewarned is forearmed . Trends may help others anticipate situations

@bobwjr thank you

@OnTheInside anytime this is what we are here for

Wecome! I started social media on a site similar to this a several years ago. Bow I have a YouTube channel so who knows!

Not looking for an answer, but how can we be at this point in this world? Admittedly though, when I first clicked on the post, expecting to be depressed, I was waiting to find out where in America this had happened. 😭

How can we be indeed. But to quote many, including one of my favorite poets (Neil Peart):
Why are we here?
Because we're here
Roll the bones
Roll the bones
Why does it happen?
Because it happens
Roll the bones

It happened in east Europe and can sometimes be a indicator of the rest of Europe

One thing that has remained the same throught human history. It has been made by humans. Religion can both bring out the best and worst in people. In some countries they would have murdered the actual people.
