The two Bills cited really don't do this story justice. The other 14, individually listed, are as important as the criminal justice reforms/parole reforms (which are HUGE reforms in Virginia) and give a big "F*ck you!" right to Trump.

Virginia has now expanded Medicaid and TANF to not only compensate for but add to services taken away by this Administration.

I saw a brief press conference where Governor Northam clearly stated: this is just the beginning. Washington state, California, Colorado, Oregon, and surprisingly, Ohio & Utah indicate following suit, if not already going forward with social service safety nets, heath insurance, and big reforms in criminal justice on a state rather than Federal level, choosing to self-fund and self- govern. It was fascinating.
