I guess he had a Freudian slip and now they are doing damage control. Thoughts?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Francis is a radical Pope who has come under much criticism from the large conservative contingent in the church. It is not surprising that the Vatican has rushed to deny what the reporter said. The reporter is 93 years old atheist who does not tape interviews nor take notes. He reconstruted his interview, making it easy for the Vatican to deny what he reported. But I think Francis may have to clarify what was said himself, or face another uprising from within the church.
