The 90's were a long decade. I had internet service (ISDN) so I could have worked from home. But no cameras. And I had girlfriends in the 90's so the absence of internet porn would have been inconsequential.
Nurturing babies, pruning fruit trees, digging trails, maintaining a mother-in-laws house, visiting the beach, my parents, siblings… Mowing two acres, cutting firewood, planting more trees, tilling in preparation for gardening, canning salmon, maintaining vehicles, chainsaws, a generator, rototiller, weed-eater, lawn mowers, well system, chimney, roof, decks… all for free!
Damn - life’s a vacation now
My favorite thing to do back then was to make my own cassette tapes. I would play music from my stereo and record with my little cassette player. I made quite a few of them to play in my car back then. Wow that really brought back some cool memories!
Pretty much the same but I'd have kids at home and I would still be married. Ex was active duty until 1994ish. We were in Washington state.
Do some reading same as now. Why is the 90s relevant?
No internet, like what you're doing now.
@Tomfoolery33 limited internet you mean
@Tomfoolery33 Dont need internet to be reading books with pages and a cover.
@Geoffrey51 I love reading myself. Real books. But I have to admit I spend a lot of time online.
@Geoffrey51, @AmmaRE007 Well, I didn't have the internet in the 90s.
@Tomfoolery33 But you don’t have to. That’s your choice.
@Tomfoolery33 I first used the internet in the 80's
@Geoffrey51 Of course. I didn't mean to be snotty, I just thought it was obvious that the question was referring to the internet.
@Geoffrey51, @AmmaRE007 I used it a few times in the 90s, for work, but not at home.
