I am someone who is interested in creating Youtube video series about mankind's scientific discoveries. What books would anyone recommend I get? What are the most inspiring/interesting or maybe even world view changing works that anyone of you have read? I am mostly interested in astronomy and biology personally but I am open in learning about other branches.
Thanks for your time!
Why not try Bill Bryson, A Short History Of Nearly Everything. It does not go into anything in great depth, and it makes a few school boy errors, but it is a great lesson in how to do the big overview, and organize it in an interesting and understandable way with a good narrative, especially for a none specialist addressing a none specialist audience.
